When you use the GDI Finance portal, we collect information that you provide directly, including:

• Your name, GDI Number, email address, and phone number.
• Your date of birth, which is stored privately and used only for member services such as birthday greetings.
• Payment records and receipts for contributions you submit.
• Login activity, including timestamps and device information, to protect your account.

We use your information to operate the GDI Finance portal and to provide church finance services, including:

• Managing your member account and authenticating your sign-ins.
• Recording, approving, and reconciling your contributions.
• Sending contribution confirmations, receipts, and important church finance notices.
• Protecting accounts and investigating suspicious activity.

We do not sell your personal information. Your information is shared only with:

• Authorised church administrators and pastors who need it to manage church finances.
• Trusted service providers that help us deliver emails, SMS messages, and other platform functions.

Your full date of birth is private. Church staff can only see the month and day, not the year.

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

If you would like us to delete or correct your personal information, please contact the church administrator.

GDI Finance uses technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and activity logging. However, no online service is completely secure, and you also play a role in keeping your account safe.

Depending on the laws of Ghana, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information, subject to church records requirements.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

The GDI Finance portal is not directed at children under 12. Members between 12 and 17 should create accounts with appropriate parental or guardian guidance.
